The pictures, taken by artists like Félix Nadar (Paris, France) and Napoleon Sarony (New York City, USA), show Sarah in a natural pose. Also the body language has been captured magnificently. These early photographers used Thomas Edison's  "Electric Light" to play with shadow and illumination.
